Sculpting Bands

This was a 15 minute workout with resistance band.  I worked on biceps, triceps, and leg muscles.  This was tough and I need to get back into the wieght room to work on strength trainning.

Spinning Class

Motivation Factor!

School is busy and I can not seem to get myself back into the swing of working out.  I need to get back into the weight room and back out for a run.  I want to keep up some level of endurance so when January comes around and I start training for the triathlons of 2009 I will have a base.  The cold weather and school is making the motivation factor dwindle.

This was one of the best 5K events i have done.  the course was very nice too;.  it went along the river and around some Michigan State University landmarks.  I also performed very well.  I ran the race in 23:13 at 7:29 pace.  my first mile was 6:55 which was too fast but i still ran a good race after that.  I placed 3rd out of 53 in my age group and was in the top 25 overall for women.

Crunchy Leaves

The best part of running in the fall along the river is the crunchy leaves.  There are so many leaves on the trail now of all different colors.  Its very pretty and they make a cool sound as you go running over them.  I am hoping to run a little faster this weekend.  I only took a week off from running swimming and biking but it took a lot out of me.  I still was active during that week off, playing other sports.  Hopefully I will find my running legs soon and be able to run 7:30 mile pace something soon again.  I know I can run this pace comfortably its just not happening for me this week.
